Reception, have been exploring ice. We used pipettes and water to put some coloured water on top of the ice, we then explored the patterns inside of the ice cube. We added some salt on top, the children noticed that salt melts the ice. We left the ice for a few more minutes. When we came inside we noticed that the ice had melted right through and made a hole.
