Jackson Pollock

In Nursery 3s we have been looking at art work by the American artist Jackson Pollock. The children copied his technique of splatter painting to create their own inspired firework pictures.
The children listened well and were able to follow the instructions to keep the brush from touching the paper and watching as the paint dropped and drizzled off the brush and made marks onto the paper.
We made some lovely bright and colourful creations.
The children had high levels of focus and concentration. They were able to name and match the colours!
