During their Forest School Thursday session the Nursery 3s children made a little fire and toasted crumpets and cheese. The children sat really well on their spot and listened well. We talked a lot about fire safety and the children were able to safely cut up, butter and sprinkle cheese on their crumpter before toasting over the fire. We then used some apples off the tree and toasted them also on the fire. They absolutely loved the experience of the fire pit!
