Safeguarding
"Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play."
Keeping Children Safe in Education, September 2019
At Richmond Hill Primary School, we recognise the importance of a secure and safe environment where children are valued and protected. The documents on this page provide important information as to how we safeguard the children in our care.
"The arrangements for safeguarding are effective.
Governors and leaders make sure that all staff have regular training in a range of
safeguarding matters. Staff are vigilant and know how to recognise signs of abuse and neglect. They know how to report their concerns if they have any worries about a pupil.
Leaders have strong working relationships with a range of other professionals. This
enables them to get help for pupils and their families if needed."
