Latrigg and Fitz Park 

In the Summer term Year 2 visit Latrigg and Fitz Park in Keswick. They learn and explore their local area, build resilience and learn how to work as a team.  Whilst also making sure that they have fun and build good relationships with peers.

Blue Dial farm and Allonby beach

During the Spring term Year 2 visit Blue Dial farm and Allonby beach. This is linked to the geography topic 'What is it like to live near the coast.' They explore the farm, enjoy time on the beach working in teams and have free time afterwards at the park.

Carlisle Castle 

During the Autumn term Year 2 visit Carlisle Castle.  The children learn about castles, how they change over time and the monarchy. The children get a tour of the grounds, and they experience authentic castle life from mediaeval times.
