Bee- Bot App

Reception have been busy trying to get the Bee-Bot to its destination. They used code to tell the Bee-Bot where to go, the Bee-Bot is very silly and had to be told where to go. It was tricky but the children persevered and managed to finish the level.

The nursery 3’s have used the bee bots.
First they had to work out how to turn the bee bot on. They then pressed the different buttons to move the bee bot. Using forwards, backwards, left and right.
The children used positional language as the bee bot moved.
The children waited patiently for their turn

IPads - Bee Bots and Purple Mash

Reception have been having a go on the iPad’s. They played the bee bot game, we’re they had to make the bee bot move to get to the flower, using codes. We then had a go on purple mash, the children painted their own pictures using different sizes of paintbrushes and colours.

IPads- Hop to it

Nursery 2s have been playing a game on CBeebies where they had to make Peter rabbit jump and run away from the Badger and the Fox. Well done everyone, you all tried really hard.

IPads- Drawing

Nursery 2s have been using Purple Mash, they were able to touch the screen and choose which colours they would like to use to draw their picture.

Using the Computer

Reception used the mouse and the smart board to click on the correct train during a Maths lesson.

In Reception we have been learning all about how to stay safe online. With the help of Buddy the dog we have learned some golden rules and a song to help us!

Computer Operating

Our Nursery 3s children are learning how to operate simple games and programs on the class computer. They have been practicing how to move and click the mouse to select something, then the space bar to make animals jump on their favourite cbeebies game!

Beebots

Nursery 3s have been exploring the beebots! I explained to the children how the beebots work and how to program them, then they each had a turn at programing their own!
