Blue Dial Farm and Allonby 

In summer term year 1 visit Blue Dial farm and Allonby beach. We start with a tour around the farm. We meet goats, cows and some baby calves. We even get to see the robot they use to milk the cows.

Whinlatter 

In spring term linked to our topic 'Explores' year 1 climb to the top of Whinlatter. They reach the top of wainwright by showing determination, resilience and perseverance.

Pizza Express 

In spring term year 1 visit Pizza Express, Carlisle. It's a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about the ingredients needed to make a pizza and where the products come from.

Church Visit 

To enhance our RE unit around Christianity and the Christmas Story we visit to church to bring this experience to life. We explore the Christmas story through pictures, songs and drama. 
 

Walk around Aspatria 

In autumn term to bring our topic 'Where do I live?' we identify where Aspatria is on the map and look at important landmarks. We bring this to life by having a walk around Aspatria.
