Painting/drawing helps to develop muscle control. While working on large sheets of paper or at an easel, it helps our children to develop their large muscle control (gross motor skills.) Our Nursery 3s children are consistently given a range of different mark making activities to develop their fine motor skills, pencil control, gross motor skills, communication and imagination.
