Nursery 3s have been celebrating St Patrick’s Day! They learned about what St Patrick’s Day is and why people celebrate it. The children were very interested in the little Irish fairies called Leprechauns, some of them would like to find them with a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow! Throughout the afternoon the children created their own rainbow by colour sorting objects. They went panning for gold in the water tray and also did some rainbow colour mixing!
